Our Mission
Brilliance Is Black is a nonprofit dedicated to raising up a new generation of Black boys who know who they are, walk in wisdom, and live with purpose. Through Bible-based programming, healing circles, and real-world mentorship, we help them break cycles and build legacy.
The Problem
Black boys face disproportionate rates of suspension, incarceration, suicide, and violence. They’re misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and often misled. But we believe they were born for more. Brilliance Is Black addresses the root causes: identity loss, emotional suppression, generational trauma, and spiritual disconnection.
